(Blog is still at posterous until I finish writing my own blog engine. Currently writing exams and working all day so the blog is a bit quiet at the moment.)
I like websites. Reading them, making them, figuring out how to put them together and take them apart. More specifically, I enjoy coding web applications.
I've been coding in C# and ASP.NET for nearly 5 years now, and I really enjoy it. In general, most ASP.NET programming takes place in the corporate environment, which I think is rather sad. C# is much too elegant a language to be confined to be "all business". I believe all websites and web applications should look good.
I work at Private Property (using C# and ASP.NET), which is a business dedicated to making the best property websites in Africa. I work on the International team. In fact, we've just finished Private Property Nigeria.
I love my job, and the technology that makes it possible. I just love writing software. I'm quite excited about where HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and web development in general are headed. If I had enough time I'd learn Ruby on Rails, there are some great Rails apps out there I'd like to get involved in. .NET is fine for now though, and besides, I just don't know how I'd ever walk away from C#.
